This year Christmas Day falls on a Sunday and gives us a beautiful day to celebrate the Lord’s birth in a slightly different way – Christmas Eve can be about the anticipation, and Christmas Day about the joy of His coming. This Christmas Day, the service will be at the regular time of 10 am. However, we are gearing it towards families with children! We encourage you to come in your pajamas and bring stuffed animals and blankets and pillows, most of the service the children will be invited to be down at the front of the sanctuary. We’ll tell the Christmas story to the kids, and sing some songs, and enjoy the wonder of Our Lord’s Nativity!
If you are able and willing, please bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots on Christmas morning. We also will be celebrating Communion. It should be a powerful reminder to us that Christmas – Jesus’ birth – is connected with His death and resurrection for us!
